Update: I bought 'The Hypnotic Jellyfish Aquarium' and it broke down after a day. I brought it back to return but the owner offered to repair it if I wanted and I said yes. It has been over a year and it works perfectly still and is my son's favorite toy to look at.

We stop in as often as we can to say hello to Bob (the owner) and his friendly staff. If you have yet to visit Bird in Hand do so next time you're in downtown Chico. You'll be pleasantly surprised!
Great store for unique, high quality kids toys and other gifts. This place has been in downtown forever and always offers a fun browsing and shopping experience. My husband and I were especially impressed with their toy dinosaur collection, not to mention their extensive yo yo museum! Always worth a visit! Great friendly staff as well.
