I am shocked at the below review of Miles Bell. He has been my advisor for over 3 years and he has been wonderful to work with. He is genuin, knowledgeable, very professional, and great at his job. He has done excellent work for my myself and my family and I know he puts the needs of his clients first. I completely trust him and I believe the below remarks are no where near accurate. Unfortunately, anyone can leave reviews these days without any accountablity. Highly recommend Northwestern Mutual Chico, especially Miles Bell and his team. You won't be disappointed.
Miles Bell, the "Financial Representative" at Northwestern Mutual is unprofessional, shady and quite frankly a thief. He has taken Northwestern Mutual's reputation and put his own arrogant spin on it, totally misrepresenting NW and financial advisory in itself. My partner had inquired about a policy with them, and after deducting several payments from his bank account before the policy was even official, Miles evaded returning our money or answering our questions. He broke client confidentiality by not only discussing my partners policy without consent, but also demanded to talk to my Mom, saying he had to "verify" stuff before he could "allow" us to get our own money back. Not only that, but then when it was time to give us our money back, he then pulled the "client confidentiality" card and refused to process it after almost a month of effort. Lastly, he created an unofficial document on Word dismissing himself of any ramifications, requesting my partner sign it with no promise of getting his money back. Northwestern Mutual is a wonderful organization and I work with them very well on a professional and personal level, but Miles Bell's company that he's running in Chico is shameful and just preying on people's lack of education in finances and ignorance/lack of resources to build a legitimate financial future. Go anywhere but here.
I just saw this review below and was genuinely shocked. Miles Bell is one of the most professional and genuine people I have ever met. I have worked with him for over a year and he has done incredible things for my family and is a great financial advisor. I can say that the Chico office of Northwestern Mutual is incredible and I can't believe someone would say something like that about Miles.
