If you’re looking to pay for a massage from another man (I’m a man) whilst people go about their mall shopping on all sides of you, this mall is you’re spot. If you’re a young girl trying to find skimpy clothes that make you feel like you look older, this is your spot too. If you’re a religious person, they’ve got your number in the Jesus shop ( Store name approximated). If you’re a 38 year old man (me) who’s looking for a couple shirts and a couple pair of boxer briefs, if you can manage to slip the massage guys before they wrangle you into one of those chairs with the toilet seats you put your head on, then you have to consider it a good day. Even if Buckle still only has shirts in size Medium. I mean, is everyone in this town 5’8”? I’d like to think not. But I’m used to it so I go in expecting to come right back out. No disappointment when prepared for the worst. So I guess if there was a tag line for this mall it might be:
The Chico Mall: 60% of the time you leave here happy every time.
I love it. Yesterday it was my first visit at chico mall with my grandchildren. Mall environment was pretty peaceful. My grandchildren really like animal Rides and barking puppys. Lin's food was very delicious and bath and body works employees was friendly. Keep it up. Nice to visit chico.
The individual stores are great, the interior is clean, but that's about all the nice things I can say for it. As a whole the mall feels like it's on its last legs. Almost everything in the food court is closed down and what's left is sub-par at best. There's only public restrooms at one end so if you're at the other end you better run for it. The decor of the mall is fine, but they really need to bring in foot traffic. It's depressingly barren there about 80% of the time.
I like the mall fun. The stores have good sells and I can usually find some great stuff, Clothes, etc. A lot of people like to mall walk there because of the nice atmosphere.
Nice mall. Parking is easy and you stores are really nice. Restaurants are right next door too which makes it easy.
