I pulled up to this location to use the atm. I bank at another bank but this location was more convenient for me to get cash. When I stepped out of my car I started walking towards the front of the building on Brodway thinking that would be where the atm was located (I was mistaken, it was on the back of the building where I was parked) and as soon as I got to the side of the building a parking attendant ran towards me and started yelling that I couldn't park in the lot. I told him I was looking for the atm and he accused me of lying and then said he was going to tow my car if I didn't move it. I told him I understood what he was saying, but that it was a misunderstanding and there was no need to yell at me, I was trying to use the atm. He then yelled at me again that I needed to park elsewhere. I decided this wasn't worth the trouble and started walking back to my car, while he followed me. I asked him to stop following me and he ignored me, he was behind me all the way up to my drivers side door and then stood a few feet beside my car watching as I pulled out and drove away.
I understand that this is this man's job. I understand that this is probably a troublesome location for people parking there and not using the bank. What I don't understand is why this man thought it was appropriate to yell and me and continue to raise his voice at me when I explained I was doing business there. It was unnecessary and frankly it scared me. I was minding my own business and next thing I know I have a man a foot taller than me starting a confrontation over nothing.
You have to sit 1 hour to finish what you want!!
I have had an account here, shortly after moving to Chico in early 2000's. All that time, excellent service, no problems at all. Very happy and would recommend.
Bank of America is great, I recomend another branch. I only use this one as it's on my way to work. What should take 15 minutes takes 30. They do not do as you ask and mess up your account.
Terrible banking institution, they try to scam you for as much money as possible. And this location specifically is so run down and shameful. I went to deposit a check and two of there machines couldn't take checks at the time, another wouldn't read it and the last one at my check, I have been waiting for quite some time to get a hold of them and get my money. Definitely closing my accounts and opening elsewhere.
I tried calling the branch to speak to someone about it, but no one answered the phone even after several tries. I will absolutely never return to this bank to do any sort of business.
