If you grew up in the 90s, you will appreciate this place. And even if you didn't, you'll find a relaxed lumbersexual atmosphere with a sturdy selection on draft complemented by a foodie-haven menu. I mean, $3 bowls of creamy hot soup accompanied by friendly hip staff. How could you go wrong?

The beer tenders are knowledgeable and friendly - they are always able to suggest an excellent beer for me and they are very personable. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, and the selection of beers is excellent and well thought out. There are other tap houses in town with more beers but the Goose always seems to have the *best* beers. My favorite tap house in Chico :-)
Small pub type bar with cozy atmosphere. Offer brew pub beers, each time you visit there will be different choices with samples to choose from. Bartender was nice and attentive.
The old brewy building is an aw venue for the best craft beer selection. Super people. Always an event going on or coming up!
