Good fence and double gates. My little escape dog tried and failed to get out.
Awesome space that's large enough for even the big dogs to get a proper run! There are some balls around and throwers, too. Plenty of seating available, though I wish that other dog owners would be better about cleaning up after their dogs.
A bit noisy, would prefer more to block the park from the freeway traffic nearby.
My opinion, is that for a town like Chico that really has no where else that you can take your dog off the leash, it's a nice park. Completely fenced, separate area to de-leash before having to come into contact with other dogs, little kiddie pool, water, everything they need.
We usually take our Chihuahua and my mother's Maltese mix dogs here! They're often the smallest dogs in the park, but we've never had any problems! My only wish is that more dog owners would pick up after their pups! Great park though!
This is a great dog park. Plenty of room to run, as it has a large, open area for play plus several tables and benches for sitting. Three poop bag dispensers so you are never far from one. We have been taking our lab there for 4 years and have never had a bad experience. Owners are responsible and most dogs are friendly and well-behaved.
My dogs opinion: If I don't take her there at least once a week, we've got problems. If she had it her way, it would be daily. Enough said.
