I've been going to 916 Skin for almost a year now. I started seeing her around October in my Junior year of college and I was a little worried about trying a skin regimen. However, I was tired of my bad back and face acne so I relied heavy on yelp reviews. It turned out great! First day she examined me, then we sat down and talked about my skin issues, eating habits, health and goals. She also explained that the program for my skin wasn’t going to fix my skin overnight. I’ll be honest the first month was a little upsetting, because I was frustrated with my skin. After 3 months or so I started seeing the improvement and started feeling more relaxed.
I've been seeing Tastja for over a year now and my skin has never been better. Tatja is not your average skin care specialist. She is professional, compassionate and organized in her approach to skin conditions. She helped me move quickly into a skin care routine that is easy to manage and relatively inexpensive. She also helped me figure out the last piece to getting rid of acne-dairy!! After quitting the raw goat milk and kefir that I was making at home (who would be allergic to raw goat milk?!) I was able to boot those final breakouts that had plagued me for so many years.
I’ve struggled with acne for a long time, but after I started going to go to 916 Skin my skin improved drastically! I’ve been going for about two years and really enjoy the facials. Overall, I like how my skin is turning out and enjoy using the products. I overcame my fears of people think,” Ugh, look at that face,” and started to take more pictures of myself. Taja also helped me know the importance of eating healthier like which food agrees with your body. I don't trust anybody else with my skin other than Tatja. I regret not going to her first before spending hundreds of dollars trying every product in the market that didn't work for me! She's so passionate about her work, I don't think she realizes the amount of confidence and happiness she brings to each of her patients. She's a skin magician! I get excited to see her before any appointment. So kind, caring and funny too(: you instantly feel comfortable around her.
