I checked myself in on Thursday and just came home yesterday. From the moment I was on the unit, I felt safe and secure, loved and cared for. The staff is simply excellent. Anyone I talked with actually listened. No nodding of the head with no idea of what I said...they heard me and responded. Nurses, mental health workers, social workers, patient monitors, janitorial/housekeeping..I mean they all were fabulous. I would 110% recommend Enloe Behavioral Health to absolutely anyone. I also learned coping skills and ways to identify triggers, ways to deal with those triggers and so much more. The staff truly wants you to get better and succeed once you leave.

She doesn't control the medication.

I could not believe how I could not meet medical necessity when I attempted to go there three times last year. They are elitests and used to be great and I was told by Dr. Nicholas medical director that I was always welcome there . They have become in my mind not trust worthy now. It's horrible when you are seeking help and your family is encouraging help. So instead of getting treatment in a place I once trusted I got shipped around to 3 different places. Thanks for nothing Enloe Behavorial Health.

There is a very kind and caring counselor there, Kristine Knight.

My experience with Enloe Behavioral Health wasn't very good. I visited Enloe on Monday April 11th ,2016. I have been suffering from panic attacks and have had bad anxiety over two family members passing recently . I experienced my first panic attach on Friday and went to the enole er. At the Emergency room they told me that consoling would help and that i am experiencing panic attacks that are associated with High levels of stress. Not biggie right? I was told to go to Butte county Behavioral Health. I arrived at 1:30 . It took 5 minutes for the heavy set Redhead/Brunette to ignore me sitting at her window. I told her i was told to come here and i was hoping to set something up for later. She handed me a tiny white piece of paper that had hours of operation, name of business , phone number ,and location. I looked at her and she said to "come back tomorrow, you missed the open registration". I looked at her with a shocked expression.I couldn't believe that was it. I flat out asked her " So if someone was to come in here, and they had really severe problems, you would just turn them away because they are not on time? She looked at me like she didn't want anything to do with me and answered "yup ,pretty much". This sent me into another panic attack. I could not believe how they treat people, I just wanted help! I had to go into the Chico crisis center next door and they saw me immediately . I spoke to a great receptionist who help me and soon enough, i was being talk to. i was assured that i would receive help and i needed stress management. He put me in the system and everything.. i expressed this to the counselor at the crisis center and his exact words were"I'm so sorry, We hear about A lot of Complaints from over there." he also warned me that most of the doctors over there are not real but have bachelor degrees and i would be better if i went someone else. I was happy he saw me and gave me the straight truth. I will never go back to enlone knowing that they are treating people like crap. If you want better help and people act like they care go to feather river Clinic ,see your doc, and go get the help you deserve and they wont push you way!

Mostly poor health care, no case by case basis, everyone gets treated with me same dangerous policy of demanding all patients no longer may have any type of benzodiazepines ( a lifesaving medication for some people ). Even as the patient has seizures, and is suffering greatly without the relief of time tested vital medication. My doctor at another facility believes that I should be given small dose of diazepam for the rest of my life. If they would just listen, I could be okay.

Good place to go when ya feeling a little crazy :)
