No, I will not stay there again
The room is cute, a little rough, but everything works perfectly. Cleaning service was wonderful. Lots of hot water for the jacuzzi, ac is nice and cold. Staff is very friendly.
Bathroom need to have a new tub,sink and the toilet use too much water.
This place is on the corner of Broadway and w 8th. It's about 4 blocks from downtown Chico. We were never told or asked if we wanted a smoking room which is what we got. The room stunk of cigarettes! The room had ac but I cant imagine the filter had been changed recently. The bathroom was pure white which really helped illuminate the various unknown stains in the bathroom. It really made it easy to spot the cockroach running around. The room had a fabulous tube television straight from the early 90s. When we checked in we had the great pleasure of listening to the manager yelling at the other employees about something some miss booking of a room. Wouldn't go here again.
Clean place, good location, but it need a lot of update in the rooms.
OMG the bed!!!! Not only need have new matresses, but the blanket and the bedspread were FULL of holes..
There is no way this place is a 3 star hotel. I'd say 1 star is more like it. The air conditioner was hardly working, the sheets had holes, the tile in the bathroom was broken all over, not just one time, the shower pipe had a leak. Also, the pictures lead you to believe the pool is in a nice spot, not along the main road. The breakfast consists of coffee, oj, frosted flakes, and wrapped danishes. For $89 with a AAA discount this place was terrible.
Chico has many better places to stay.
Not the best hotel in Chico. But you get what you get for the price. I killed two cockroaches. I slept on top on the blankets after.
If AB charge a little more, maybe they can improved the room.
