Very knowledgeable people and nice bicycles
Went in to the shop to buy an $1800 Jamis gravel bike, which needed to be ordered. They never bought here's to order it and the guy didn't seem to know the computer very well. I didn't nag them, I waited a couple of weeks nothing, so I went to a shop that wanted to sell a bike. Get a tuneup or a repair at this place but buy your new bike elsewhere. Nice enough guy Just not very eager to make a sale, will never go back and l tell people of my experience.
This place is legendary and almost historic. Pullins is an essential presence in Chico. This is your spot for those old loved ones to brand new bikes. Lots of accessories for that special bike in your life and so much knowledge like Sheldon brown knowledge.
Very rude and no customer service or support. Me and my wife were stranded because of a simple wheel that just needed some edging in (we found this out after because of the guys of cycle sport) and he refused to help us because it wasn't a quick release system and he did not want to turn the screws. I even offered to unscrew them for him, and he still refused. I stressed that it was an emergency and that I needed his help and then he just disappeared into the back and never came back out. He is very lazy and negative. He even lied and said that he would be on vacation in order to turn down another job we asked for and we pass by there everyday on our way to work and we saw him. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!
I've gone here several times to get inner tubes replaced, and was happy with the service. However, I will never go back here again. This last time I went in to get a new tube, they took care of THREE customers that came in after me before getting to replacing my tube (which took 5 minutes so I'm not sure why I kept getting pushed back) I was walking out the door to the nearest bike shop when he said he will start on the repair... This place is hit and miss. Good luck
