As a student I do not recommend living here and get ahold of housing immediately before coming to Chico! The housing stuff are incredibly unhelpful and lack respect for the students needs and will not help your student move after the school year has begun.
Your experience at UV heavily relies on who you live with, if you like your roommate you'll probably think the place is ok, but if you're like me and hated living with them then it's probably going to suck, my advice is to change roommates before it's too late if you really can't stand living with them. They could do a better job pairing you up with people similar to you.
Very quiet and nice apartment like dorms.
The rooms are trashy and over price. There a bug problems out the wazoo! The rules are to strict and the beds are like laying on a slinky.
primarily the biggest issue is this place being off campus. we signed up our son for dorm living and this is what he was assigned. and he didn't sign up late. the A/C wasn't working during the first weekend. and it was hot and uncomfortable. the university housing added another student to their dorm. we should be getting some money back if they are splitting the fees again, right? and it is way too costly. there is no cleaning service, it is basically living in an apartment so it is expensive to completely furnish. no satisfied with Chico St. housing.
