Went in last night because celestinos had incorrect information and closed. I thought nothing could compare right? Wrong! Main st pizza is now my go too, hands down. The pizza was SO good. The kind man behind the counter (blond guy?] Was simply amazing and a huge part of why I will go back! His people skills are off the hook. He's cool as hell. (Well the 9th dimension anyway lol) Right as I was about to leave he said "you should try the balsamic drizzle on a slice" Man was he right! I should have put that on every single one! I appreciate a kind soul and a great pizza at 12am. You guys are the best.
I come here every time I'm out on Wednesday nights (for Buck night at the bars) and honestly once I've gotten enough of that heavy (sleepy) $1 ale in my gut all I can think of is this giant cheesy slice of pizza with ranch in my belly! Ha but seriously I've seen a line coming out of the restaurant! Its definitely one of those places, you go to, and just know, everyone from your Facebook friends list - will already be there by the time you walk in. The staff is really hard working, and funny if you spit random banter while waiting and collecting your pizza necessity's.
I absolutely love the pesto pinaple pizza. Great place for after or while bar hopping.
I've been coming here over a decade, great pizza, nice remodeling they recently did. Very good prices, highly recommend for anyone who wants a good taste of chico!
Main Street has rows of tables/booths, you can even eat facing the street in their window! Its my favorite pizza place in Chico and I'm technically on my way there to eat right now! ;)
But its definitely the VIP version of what Franky's late night window tries/tried to accomplish, except with enough room; for more than just the large group of guys from Chico State - taking up all the seating - leaving you to eat that slice of pizza, on the curb.. Which, I'm just, never quite drunk enough for..

Without a doubt: best pizza in Chico. Maybe it's that they're open at the times of the night when it matters most; after a few (or many) drinks. Main St. Pizza hits that spot in your tummy so good every damn time.
