I don't live in Chico, or even in California - I live in Oregon. When I needed a hard to find part for my 96 Subaru Outback I went searching on searchtempest. The only part I found was 500 miles away at this Auto Repair shop in Chico, California. I sent a text message and got a response almost instantly. Although they were only planning to sell the part locally they were willing to ship it to me that very same day. Two days later I had the part I needed for my Subaru at a very great low cost. The part was exact as ordered. I know nothing about cars but Independent Auto Repair made sure that I got the exact part I needed just from a text craigslist ad. Responding to a text message from a craigslist buyer and having the part in the mail the same day - that is excellent customer service. If I'm ever in Chico and in need an auto mechanic me and my Subaru will be at Independent Auto Repair.
