I recently purchased a very limited-production BMW from Courtesy in Chico. Some dealers (if they even had an allocation) have been selling this car for $5-10k over MSRP. I worked with Cedric Lafaix, BMW CA to obtain this vehicle for MSRP. He was completely patient, responsive and accessible by both phone and e-mail over the course of several months as the car went through the production and delivery process.

Started out to be a good experience, but things went bad when I decided to purchase a car from them. It was used so not a car that they specialize in. Had to deal with about 10 different people to buy the car, gave the run around and no one could give a solid answer. I loved the car so I went through with the sale, and purchased a bumper to bumper warranty. Then the car breaks down four months later, and once again, I am given the run around because no one can give a direct answer. Had an appointment at 8am to get the car fixed, by 4oclock the same day, they had to call to ask if the car was under warranty. They told me they would call in a couple of hours to tell me what was wrong with the car. After over 3 hours, not a call. I had to call and they say they will call me in a few minutes. Then no call for another 3 hours. Took them two days to figure out if it would be covered. If it wasn't a car that I love, I would never deal with these people again.
Highly, highly recommended.

They could have totally hosed me by marking up the price or selling it to someone else willing to pay a massive premium when the car arrived, but they were true to our gentleman's agreement and the car was sold the car to me at the price we agreed on. Complete integrity.
